Mother Nature provided the perfect backdrop for the grand opening of Samara House, inviting residents and guests to gather and socialize on the elegant patios before stepping inside to experience the beauty, warmth, and thoughtful design of this remarkable new residence.
Staff were on hand to offer brochures, maps and personal tours. Chef Daragh and his staff were also on hand, providing a great variety of refreshments, both on the outdoor patios and in the elegant new Residents' Dining Room. Assisted Living Units were open, with their carefully planned built-ins in the kitchenettes and bedrooms and luxurious baths. The Common Areas invited guests to relax and enjoy the music from a programmable baby grand piano, shows on the oversize television, and seating on the upper level outdoor terrace overlooking the spectacular Green Roof, an impressive ecological enhancement.
Throughout, there were carefully curated art works, which reflect, enhance or intensify the interior decor. Both inside and out, there are sculptures by local artists. Samara House can be enjoyed as an art gallery in its own right. Residents and guests were unanimous in their admiration and praises.
It was worth the wait, and will fill quickly with residents anxious to enjoy the exceptional quality of life Samara House has to offer.
